Expanding Relationship

CASH Oregon is pleased to partner with AARP's Tax-Aide Program to deliver free tax preparation in the Portland Metro Area. Tax-Aide brings more than 20 years of experience providing free tax preparation to thousands of Oregonians through a grant from IRS and AARP Foundation. The all-voluneer organization provides income tax law training each year to hundreds of volunteers who must pass IRS certification requirements to prepare basic tax returns. With the resources of CASH Oregon's members and staff bring we will be able to expand volunteer recruitment, arrange for training facilities and work with Tax-Aide to identify additional tax preparation sites. This partnership allows Tax-Aide to focus on what it does best - training volunteer tax preparers to prepare quality returns for all eligible taxpayers.
