Our Partnership with AARP Tax-Aide

Serving the community better together
CASH Oregon is pleased to partner with AARP's Tax-Aide Program to deliver free tax preparation in the Portland tri-county area. Tax-Aide brings more than 20 years of experience providing free tax preparation services to thousands of Oregonians through a grant from the IRS and AARP Foundation. The all-volunteer organization provides income tax law training each year to hundreds of individuals, all of whom must pass IRS certification requirements to prepare basic tax returns. With the resources of our members and staff here at CASH Oregon, together we will be able to expand volunteer recruitment, arrange for training facilities, and work to identify additional tax preparation sites. This partnership also allows Tax-Aide to focus on what it does best - training volunteer tax preparers and operating sites to provide a top notch service for all eligible taxpayers.
