What We Do

First and foremost, we help you set and meet practical financial goals. And we do it all in a comfortable one-on-one setting. If you are not sure what's a good goal for you, we will take a close look at your personal situation and decide on the best path together. Common issues include improving credit scores, preparing for first-time home ownership, or just making a spending plan and sticking to it.

How It Works

If the program sounds right for you, we will get together and discuss your interest and your goals. The Financial Advocacy Initiative program lasts for at least six months with meetings between you and your planner taking place at least twice a month. Our next available spots will be open in February.

What You Gain

You can expect to learn new skills like expense-tracking and responsible budgeting. You can also expect to learn more about the financial issues that matter most to you, whether that means reading your credit report or paying off old debts.

Who To Contact

If you would like to know more or talk about signing up, we want to hear from you! Please contact Program Manager Ximena Quiroz in our office at 503-243-7765. Or email her with any questions you have.

I have two savings accounts, a checking account, and a credit card that I did not have before. I have paid 90% of my debts and I HIGHLY recommend your service to others.
